Today marks the true beginning of your Moroccan adventure. After breakfast, your private driver will take you on a scenic journey to the stunning Chefchaouen, the famous “Blue Pearl” of Morocco.

As you arrive, you’ll be greeted by a mesmerizing town painted in every shade of blue imaginable from soft sky tones to deep indigo. Spend the afternoon at your leisure: stroll through the maze of blue-washed streets, visit the vibrant Outa el Hammam Square, or simply relax and soak in the serene mountain atmosphere.

Wander through the mystical medina, where daily life unfolds much as it has for generations. Though you’ll find many inviting shops selling handicrafts and souvenirs, most of the medina remains residential and authentic  filled with cobblers, grocers, tailors sewing elegant djellabas, and the scent of fresh bread from local bakeries, the social heart of each neighborhood.

Don’t miss the new town, home to elegant Andalusian-style architecture and a peaceful park at the end of Avenida Mohammed V a perfect place to relax and people-watch.

If you’re in the mood for a little more adventure, your driver is available for a short excursion into the Rif Mountains, offering beautiful scenery and a glimpse of rural Moroccan life.

After breakfast, you’ll bid farewell to Chefchaouen and journey south toward Volubilis, the most significant and well-preserved Roman archaeological site in Morocco. Once one of the Empire’s farthest outposts, Volubilis thrived thanks to the surrounding Berber tribes, who balanced cooperation and resistance with the Romans.

At its height, this prosperous provincial city was home to around 200,000 inhabitants, producing grain for Rome’s vast empire and even wild animals for the gladiatorial arenas. You’ll walk among the Capitoline Temple, the grand Basilica — once famed as one of Africa’s most beautiful — and the Forum, still adorned with magnificent mosaics that hint at the city’s former opulence.

Next, continue to the sacred town of Moulay Idriss, beautifully perched on two hills and said to resemble a sitting camel from afar. Founded in 789 CE by Moulay Idriss I, who fled Mecca and established Morocco’s first Islamic dynasty, this town holds deep spiritual significance and features the country’s only circular minaret.

Your day ends in Fes, one of Morocco’s four Imperial Cities, where you can relax and prepare for tomorrow’s immersive tour through the country’s cultural and spiritual heart.

You will leave Fez early this morning and head into the Middle Atlas Mountains. You’ll pass through the cedar forests of Ifrane before continuing ahead to the Ziz Valley. In this oasis valley, you’ll have lunch with our local host named Tata as his family’s traditional Moroccan home. This is your chance to learn about Moroccan family life, but not by simply asking questions, more by just being there and any children in your group will have a great time petting the family donkey and goats, and maybe even feeding the chickens.

Before lunch you can enjoy a short walk through the date palms and farms of what is the biggest date-producing region in Morocco. And you will be surprised to see that not all date palms tower over you, because there are 283 recognized varieties of date grown in the country, the most delicious (and expensive) of which are known as Mejhoul. After a relaxing night in the hotel, you’ll be fully rested for the next day’s Sahara adventure.

Today promises to be one of the most unforgettable highlights of your Moroccan journey as you travel into the golden dunes of the Erg Chebbi region in the Sahara Desert.

Spend the morning relaxing or exploring the nearby towns of Erfoud and Rissani, gateways to the desert and steeped in rich history. In the afternoon, prepare for an enchanting desert experience a camel trek across the dunes, where the rhythm of your camel and the shifting sands create a truly timeless atmosphere.

Your ride leads you to a luxurious desert camp, complete with Bedouin-style tents and soft Moroccan carpets underfoot. As the sun sets, enjoy a delicious tajine dinner by candlelight, then unwind under a vast, starlit sky a night you’ll remember forever.

Wake up early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the Sahara Desert — a peaceful, magical moment as the cool dawn sky glows and the sand dunes turn golden under the rising sun. Afterward, return to a nearby hotel for a warm shower and a delicious breakfast before continuing your adventure.

Travel west to Tinjedad, stopping for lunch along the way. If time allows, visit Ksar El Khorbat, a unique walled village where narrow, covered streets are pierced by shafts of sunlight. Inside, explore a small museum that beautifully captures the traditions and culture of desert life.

Continue to Skoura, an enchanting palm oasis known as the Valley of Kasbahs. Spend the evening surrounded by towering palm trees and ancient mud-brick fortresses — a perfect place to rest after your desert journey.

The next day is free for you to relax and enjoy Skoura’s peaceful charm. Stroll among the palm groves, visit a nearby kasbah, or simply unwind by the pool. This extra day in Skoura offers the perfect opportunity to pause, reflect, and savor the slower rhythm of Moroccan life.

This morning, depart from Skoura and head toward Ouarzazate, often called the Hollywood of Africa. Here, you’ll find the famous Atlas Studios, one of the largest film studios in the world. While some travelers skip the studio, a stop at the impressive Kasbah Taourirt is highly recommended. Once home to the powerful Glaoui family, it served as a stronghold along ancient caravan routes that carried gold, spices, and salt from Timbuktu to the markets of Marrakesh.

Continue to the legendary Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the best-preserved example of a southern Moroccan ksar (fortified village). Surrounded by towering Kasbahs, this atmospheric site has appeared in countless films and series, including Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, and Game of Thrones.

For a deeper glimpse into Berber history, venture further to Telouet, where the crumbling yet magnificent Glaoui Palace still whispers of past grandeur. Here, you can also enjoy a memorable lunch with a local Berber musician, who may share songs and stories from the region’s past.

The journey continues across the dramatic High Atlas Mountains, following the winding Tizi n’Tichka Pass, one of Morocco’s most spectacular drives. By evening, you’ll arrive in Marrakesh, where you may have time for a stroll through the lively Jemaa el-Fnaa Square before enjoying dinner at your riad.

Today you’ll leave the bustling streets of Marrakesh and make your way to the breezy coastal town of Essaouira, one of Morocco’s most relaxed and charming destinations.

While local legends may claim that Jimi Hendrix wrote Castles Made of Sand here, the truth is he visited in 1969 two years after the song was released. Still, it’s a story the locals love to tell, and it adds to the city’s laid-back, bohemian vibe.

Unlike Morocco’s busier cities, Essaouira remains authentic and tranquil, with everyday life unfolding at an easy pace. Follow the locals’ lead and take a leisurely stroll along the old ramparts, where sea breezes and ocean views create a perfect moment of calm.

Today marks the end of your Moroccan adventure. After breakfast, your driver will transfer you to Casablanca Airport for your departure flight.

We recommend allowing at least three hours at the airport, as customs procedures can sometimes take time.
